Crop is not a parameter defining the lens, but worth it to take into account when buying a lens. Put simply, it identifies the difference between the angle of view when the lens of our camera matrix, and the angle at matrix, which is the matrix corresponding to the size 35mm film frame. This matrix has it eg Canon 5D or 1Ds Mark II. Cheaper SLR rather have smaller matrices. |
